How to invoke "Push Button Reset Feature- Remove Everything" from powershell//automate entire reset this PC via script RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any way to execute "Push Button Reset Feature- Remove Everything" functionality from power shell ?

systemreset.exe only takes you to a prompt and rest of the steps have to be done manually in GUI as of now.

Need a way to perform entire steps via script.Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

  • Your question has nothing to do with scripting. It is about how to manage a Windows system.

No. That utility cannot be automated.  The closest you can get is this:

     c:\windows\System32\Sysprep\sysprep /?

Post any questions in the Windows deployment forum.

  • thanks for the reply. :) Will try asking the same in deployment forum. I wanted to try if we can invoke the "Remove everything" programmatically so that I don't have to go through the GUI.

Didn't get any  library or api or scripts to do that silently so far. Let me know in case you come across any in future apart from sysprep.
