New workstation won't complete Client Backup to Windows 2011 Server

Question
-
A new Workstation was recently added to our Domain and won’t complete client backups. It is the first Windows 10 workstation and this might be an issue as all the rest are Windows 7. Backup Tab on the Computer Properties in the Lists all the backups as “Unsuccessful”. All the other workstations are performing properly.
The Backup details show:
Local Disk (Unsuccessful 1GB)
Local Disk (Unsuccessful 236.7GB)
An error prevented backup from running
An error prevented backup from creating snapshot of the volumes on this computer.
For more information about this issue, see the event logs on the computer that you are backing up.
For information about how to resolve issues with backup see the Troubleshooting section in the online Help.
I checked the local logs on the workstation and under the Application log at the times of the backup I would see:
General Tab:
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.
. This is often caused by incorrect security settings in either the writer or requestor process.

hi,
can you check the win10 computer partition table , is it BIOS/MBR-based hard drive partitions
or UEFI/GPT-based hard drive partitions ? you can discover it from Disk manager.
can you check if the antivirus software interrupted the backup ,you can shutdown it then try again.
other conditioin you can refer this document to do troubleshooting :

Hi,
I know this is an old post, but I am having the same problem as described. I am running Small Business Server 2011 Essentials and the computer I am trying to back up has a UEFI/GPT partition. Is there a way to get the server to back up this type of partition? Is there a software update available?
Thanks!

Hi,
I did a quick search on the Internet and found that there was a hotfix (KB2781270) for this issue. I have not been able to find it - does someone know where I can get it? If you have it, can you post it somewhere for me to download?
Thanks!
