Windows 10 Updates on a WSUS Server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a WSUS server running on Server 2012.  I enabled Windows 10 updates to be downloaded during synchronization.  However I do not see any Windows 10 updates being downloaded.  Is there something I am missing here?

Thanks in advance for any/all replies.

Answers

  • Hi,

It is probably caused by Windows 10 already upgrade to be latest.

Please check Windows update history if there is any update installed.

On the other hand, check Windows Update log if there is any problem was record.

Although I have not confirmed personally, according to the KB894199 reference article, updates for Win10 are being released into WSUS

In your WSUS, do you have the Classification: Security Updates, enabled? Search in your WSUS for KB3081436.

I can confirm KB3081436 is released to MUCatalog, which is usually a good sign
