Azure Backup Server Crashing on Recovery Tab RRS feed

  • Hello Everyone, 

    We just installed the Azure backup Server on a clients VM. It has been working perfectly for a week or so and then all of a sudden the customer when on the recovery tab to look for a restore point and it crashed after 20 seconds or so and now it does it all the time. We get this error

    The description for Event ID 999 from source MSDPM cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

    If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

    The following information was included with the event:

    An unexpected error caused a failure for process 'mmc'.  Restart the DPM process 'mmc'.

    Has anyone had this problem and know of any possible fixes

    This was a known code defect in MABS V2 and was fixed in MABS V3.
