Can't set CORS settings using Azure Portal RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using the Azure Portal in order to create a CORS configuration for my blob storage service. No matter what options in the cors settings I select, once I get green validation checkmarks on each setting, I press the "Save" button and I get an error that is shown as a popup in the top right corner.  The error says:

Title: "Failed to save all CORS rules"
"Failed to save CORS rules for 1 out of 1 services
Server failed to authenticate the request. Make sure the
value of Authorization header is formed correctly
    including the signature."

I have recently created the storage account (it's a blob service account) and and I
just recently signed up with the Azure.

  • It has been 3 hours since then. I tried it and it worked.  So, maybe it doesn't work if you create a new Storage and try to apply CORS right away.

You need to add the CORS setting for storage blob service. By default, CORS is disabled for each service. We could get more information about CORS from this article.

Note: CORS is not supported for Premium Storage accounts.
