Perfmon cause high cpu spike RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

Intermittently our terminal server (which is hyper v VM) encounter high cpu spikes. This VM is running windows server 2008 R2 with 20GB RAM and 4 virtual CPU. After I check on the system monitor, I found that perfmon sometimes will trigger high cpu spikes. The second that take the high resource will be the NAVISION that being installed also in this terminal server.

May I know is there any way to disable perfmon.exe totally? so I can isolate the issue. I found that the perfmon.exe will always running in the background.

    Thanks for your attention.

    Regards,

    Henry
