Saving print settings to a pdf RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

Able to help?  I have developed a nice single page programme, by using Page Set up and scaled the programme to fit etc, but when I save to a pdf, my programme is spread over 6 pages!!

How do I save my settings?  It is very frustrating and must be a simple solution??

    Thanks

  • Hi, Printing is *always* an issue in MS Project.  However, the following tricks are useful...

    1. If you are printing to PDF, consider setting the page size to A3.

    2. Use the Page Setup button to modify the scale if necessary (though) I don't often use this myself.

    3. Ensure you are only printing the columns you want, but either removing them or moving the vertical splitter bar on the Gantt chart to the left.

    4.  It is worth considering whether you want the legend on each page - check out the Legend tab from the Page Setup link/button.

    5.  It is worth considering creating/saving a specific Print view.

    6. Consider if you have text displayed to the right of the gantt bars - this will cause additional pages.
