  • Thank You Amit.  I'm a newbie to Project Server.  We have PS 2003 in production but it is my new job to migrate to PS 2007 and administer it.  So far the farm has been configured/installed, but I'm not sure it is correct.  I did not do the configuration/install and the person that did was not a PS guru either.  Some of the functionality doesn't seem to work such as, using PWA and Project Center with the EDIT link, MS Project Pro 2007 will launch but not be able to read the project file from server "Project cannot open file" followed by "Project cannot reconize file format".  There is a lot of info on the web but not seems to work for me.  I work for DoD and security/group policy may be causing the issue, however I can't change it.  Thanks for reading...

  • PWA> Server Settings> Database Administartion> Delete Enterprise objects>

    Select the Resources & users
Select the resource & hit delete.

Its not good practice to delete the resources once added if they have assignments/project etc , instead inactivate them.
