Failed to connect to policy namespace. Error 0x8004100e RRS feed

  • Hello everyone

    I'm installing SCCM client to some windows servers but one of them failed, I saw a lot of errors in the ccmsetup log
    how can I fix this issue?

    Error 0x8004100e= "Unvalid Namespace - Source:WMI"

    Please kindly first check that your boundary and boundary group are configured correctly.

    Also, ensure the WMI is allowed on the client firewall. Here is link for your reference.

  • I have the same error.
    I've verified WMI connectivity (using WBEMTEST) between client and server and it's OK.
    I've been pushing clients without any problem until now (but affected client is 1903).

    SCCM server 1902
    Client is Windows 10 1903

  • I checked client logs and found out error 0x87d00215.

    Somehow client package was not updated on DP so I did it manually and now clients push OK again.

    Shouldn't client package automatically update on DP after SCCM upgrade (from 1810 to 1902)?
