Hi All,
Good Day!!!,
Thanks for all your supports on this.
Actually this is Hardware issue , we might have tried to install SCDPM 2016 on non suitable hardware.
We tried to 2 times format the server and install SCDPM but we got same error message, So we requested client to provide and VM with same configuration but this time we could able to complete setup without any issue.
finally we concluded that this is because of some hardware compatability issue.
thanks,

Hello Kesavan,
Which exact version of SQL Server 2016 do you have, any service packs?
Could you provide the error message and error ID you are receiving, it can be found in the Error tab.
Make sure of the following:
- Don't have SQL Server Management Studio above version 16.5
- Make sure the account you're using to install DPM 2016 has sysadmin privileges to the SQL Server database.
Best regards,

Hi Leon,
Both the recommended already in place.
We have SSMS 16.5 & the Installer account is member of SQL Sysadmin .
Error Message from Setup Log:

Are you using a local or remote SQL Server? Is this a standalone SQL Server or a cluster?
Have you configured the SQL Server Reporting Services prior to launching the DPM 2016 setup?
Make sure the account used to install DPM is a member of the local administrator's group on the server, also run the setup as Run as Administrator.
Do you have any antivirus software installed?

Is this SQL Server 2016 Standard RTM or is it with any Service Packs?
Please check the DPM installation log over here:
