  • As far as I'm concerned, ILM is not affected by what happens at the network layer - as long as the name you define for a connected system is resolvable by the ILM server and the ILM server can reach that host, you should be OK. Note that you'll probably have better support with the enhanced IPv6 protocol stack in Windows Server 2008, which is a supported system if you use the 32bit version (see the ILM FAQ).

    Note that the ILM supportability statement doesn't mention dependencies on the protocol stack being used (see again the ILM FAQ for that)
