Windows 2016 - Installed RDS Per User CAL - Issued count not updating RRS feed

  • Hello,

    We have installed RDS license manager for 50 users and its showing activated as below. However, in the RD licensing Manager, Issued licenses number is not getting updated. ANy reason for this or configuration issue?

  • Assign users to access RDS.

    Then allow them to login into the server.

    After login allowed users, count will be shown under Issued.

    Users are already in Remote desktops users. Where do i assign to  RDS ?

  • Hi,

    Have you had people connect to the RDSH server via Remote Desktop (RemoteApp or Full Desktop) using domain accounts since you configured the licensing mode and licensing server FQDN?  If not, please connect using a domain account, and then refresh RD Licensing Manager to see if an RDS CAL was issued.  If it still didn't issue an RDS CAL please restart the RDSH server and test again.

    Please note that if a user already has an RDS User CAL that hasn't expired yet they will not be issued a new one unless they are getting close to the expiration date.

  • After adding the server object in terminal server AD group, it resolved.
