Windows 7 Latency Spike Issue (New Laptop) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey guys,

I just got a new laptop Samsung Q330, and I am having problems with latency spikes.

Every 5 seconds or so my latency spikes from arround 50-75 ping, to anywhere from 150-2000 Latency. I know that this issue is not caused by my wireless network since my other laptops aren't having the same problem and have stable connection.

Any help would greatly be appreciated......

  • Hi,

I suspect the issue is related to your network driver or network settings.

First, please download the latest wireless adapter driver from manufacture's site and install it manually.

If the issue persists, please open an elevated command window and type the following commands.

netsh interface tcp set global rss=disabled

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

netsh int ip set global taskoffload=disabled
