Blocking http port in firewall RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI,

We have SharePoint 2013 internet facing sites which uses https , and separate office web app configured both internal

and external url's are set to " https " and Allowhttp is set to  false .If we block the http on firewalls will there be any impact

    on the application.

Your suggestion is highly appreciated  this we are going to implement this weekend

    Thanks & Regards,

  • No, as long as users are not using the http protocol, you should be all set to block http.

  • Hi Raghavender,

    Any progress on your troubleshooting?

As far as I know, if you lock http on the firewall, it won't affect other applications.

If there's anything you'd like to know, don't hesitate to ask.
