Recovery SQL Database of DPM 2016

    Question

  • Hi,

The SQL Server 2014 database of the DPM 2016 server (they are on the same physical equipment) is corrupt and I do not have a backup. Is there a way to recover the recovery points on the DPM server or in Azure Backup?

    Thanks

  • Hello!

If you have no backup of your DPM database, then I'm afraid there's no supported way to get your DPM storage back.

That's why it's extremely important to backup your DPM database to another location, either to disk/tape or in the cloud, as long as you have a backup of the database to another site.

There's actually another thread going on with a similar issue here.

    Best regards,
    Leon
