During the execution of Microsoft assessment and planning(MAP) toolkit for a couple of windows and Linux machines, a mix of physical and virtual machines -
For the Linux machines, even though the SSH status is success and other details are visible, the "computer model" column is empty, and the "machine type" column is returning "Insufficient data." Differentiating the virtual
and physical devices in the inventory details report, the computer model and machine type columns are useful.
These machines are located in an isolated network, tried running the MAP tool from inside and outside the network. I have tried all the different discovery methods - Active Directory, IP, and machine names still the same
issue.
Is there any modification required in the Linux machine or services or network config for procuring these columns?
