Can someone let me know if this in some way is an expected behavior with Spatial results tab of SQL Server Management Studio? I feel it is a bug because points are visible at lon lat values of -180,90 and -180,-90. Why a problem only at these
Longitude values of -180 and +180 are the same. Therefore, you'd expect the point plotted at (-180,90) to be shown the same as that at (180,90), and that's exactly what I get on the Spatial Results tab (using SQL2012 CTP3).
Likewise, (-180,-90) gets plotted exactly the same as (180,-90)
