SQL 2016 MDS Web App error: Specified cast is not valid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi. Hoping someone can help me with this. Recently I set up an MDS website and database using SQL Server 2016 Master Data Services Configuration Manager. Everything worked, happy days!

Everything continued working until Monday morning when, after invoking the web app, I got the following error:-

    Stack Trace:

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:4.0.30319; ASP.NET
    Version:4.7.3429.0

In between it working and not working I have changed absolutely nothing at all on the server. I suspect that our remote IT Support dept may have changed something, and I am going to chase this up with them, but in the meantime was wondering if anyone else had encountered this error or knew what it means?

    Many Thanks.

    Brian.
