Power Query - Cannot Convert Value to Text RRS feed

  • Question

  • NOTE THAT IT IS GIVING ME THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE SO I CANNOT ATTACH SCREENSHOTS:

    • Body text cannot contain images or links until we are able to verify your account.

    I am new to Power Query and am trying to manipulate a data set to roll all of the information in the table below up into a single line.

    I created a query by which I was able to roll everything up to a single level with the exception of the Line #.

    The data exists in in the TableData column and when I try to add a custom column to concatenate all of the numbers and separate them by a common I get an error message.

    The error message reads as follows:

    Expression.Error: We cannot convert the value 3.001 to type Text.
    Details:
        Value=3.001
        Type=[Type]

    Here is the logic that I am using to try and do this:

    Table.ToList(
        Table.Transpose (
            Table.Distinct(
                Table.FromList(
                   Table.Column([TableData],"Line #")
                    )
                )
            ),
            Combiner.CombineTextByDelimiter(",")
        )

    Any help is greatly appreciated!  Also, since I am just getting familiar with Power Query, the more details and steps that I need to take to correct are greatly appreciated.
