Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit is supported on Windows Server 2019? RRS feed

    Hello,
    now that Windows Server 2019 has been released can we get some guidance on
    1) Whether or not the MAP Toolkit 9.9.13
         is supported for installation on Windows Server 2019 and
         if not what release will support this ? and

    2) Whether or not the MAP Toolkit 9.9.13 can be used
         reliably to gather data from Windows Server 2019 installations and
         if not when will there be a version that will?

    Answer from Microsoft:

    We regret to inform you that MAP Toolkit 9.9.13 do not support Windows server 2019.

    We would like to inform you that Business has decided that there will not be any future releases on MAP Toolkit.

    No enhancements will be added to current MAP Tool.

    However we will continue to support end users in the issues related to current MAP version.

    So what is the replacement product to scan an environment?  MAP was a very useful tool for us.

    We would like to inform you that Business has decided that there will be future releases on MAP Toolkit.

    Regarding Windows server 2019 Support, We have planned to release it in the end of June.

    We will inform you once it is available for download over internet.
