Skype for Business mobile app - unable to login RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    Situation:
Skype hybrid configuration with some users onprem and some user online.

Everyone can connect using Skype for Business client, internal access and external access.
Only online users can connect using the skype for business mobile app.

Onprem users are unable to login using the Skype for business mobile app.

How can I troubleshoot that issue?

    Regards
    Peter

  • Hi Evan

We had a maintenance window, on which the servers were updated, Windows and Skype updates.

After that mobile access worked again.

    Thank you and regards

  • Hi Peter,

Do you configure Reverse Proxy in your environment? As you know, SFB mobility traffic need to go through Reverse Proxy, if you do not deploy it, the SFB client in mobility can’t sign in, this is the default behavior.

If you have deployed Reverse Proxy, please try to check whether there’re any Event error in the FE Server in your environment. In addition, if you are using IIS ARR as reverse proxy, you could refer to the following blog to check the setting in it: Using IIS ARR as a Reverse Proxy for Lync Server 2013, it is similar to SFB Server
