Setup relay to send email from different domain

Hi Everyone,
We have a requirement here to setup a smtp server to send emails out from SAP system.
using exchange server 2016 and the relay server is Cisco ironport.
Customer sending emails using any email address using our domain email address to any external or internal recipients without any issues.
When they try to send using our partner domain email address (from:parnter@domain.com) it is failed
how can i make it work.
Please help

Hi,
You can create a dedicated Receive connector on Exchange server to specify the network hosts that are allowed to anonymously relay messages. Only specific IP addresses are allowed to use this connector to re-route emails through the Exchange 2016.
