SCOM 2007 R2 : Loading reporting hierarchy failed. HTTP Status 503 : Service Unavailable.

  • Hello,

    I having a problem in SCOM Reporting. When ever i open Reports in SCOM Console i am getting.

    Loading reporting hierarchy failed.

    The Request failed with HTTP Status 503 : Service Unavailable.

    Please help me to fix this issue.

    Please check this Steps.

    • Check SQL Reporting services is started and Automatic.
    • Check IIS Admin Service is Started.
    • In IIS App Pools and Check Default AppPool and Report Server Apppool is Started.

    And check the Service Account is proper in SQL Reporting Service, Report server AppPool.

  • Hi,

    Try to open the reports through IE, Open IE and type  http://servername/reports.

  • Hello,

    SQL Reporting Service and IIS Admin Service both are running.

    But Default AppPool and Report Server AppPool Was Stopped. Now Started the Service. Changed the Service Account to Domain User Account (scomadmin).

    Thanks Its working fine now.
