What kind of scenario you are using to have SCCM support internet client?
Does your site server only support internet clients or both internet and intranet clients? For both scenarios SCCM provides sample network diagrams and firewall settings.
SQL server with default instance MSSQLSERVER will listen on static port 1433, then which port have you configured for your site server database named instance listened to?
Read these technet document will be helpful:
Hope this will help.
