Submitting a Service Request without having populated all manditory fields

  • Service Manager 2012 (Version: 7.5.1354.0)

Issue#1 - I created a Request Offering that had three "required" Response Types but am able to submit a request without having populated one of the fields. I config'ed the User Input as Required but when I go to submit the field in question is not outlined in red (indicating it is a manditory field).

The manditory field I didn't need to populate before sumitting was as follows:
Name: Database | Response Type: Required | Prompt Type: Simple List

Expected behavior should be a person is not able to submit an SR without the manditory field(s) populated.

Issue #2 - There doesn't seem to be a way to add the necessary User Input once the SR has been created.

Has anyone else run into either of these issues?

    Thanks, Steve
