how to config central datacenter administrator?

    HI, I scuess install Self-Service portal 2.0. when i login portal homepage and submit create business unit. but i can not find central datacenter administrator to approval . i see help " When you submit your registration request form, the portal forwards it to your central datacenter administrator for review and approval. " please tell me , how to config ?

    Okay. This means you are not DCIT admin. Hence you are not authorized to update configuration. Can you contact admin ( who has installed) and get yourself added to DCIT admin role?

    If you installed VMMSSP2 then could you please check if you logged in to a machine with Local Machine account instead of Domain account ? You need to logged in with domain account that you specified during installation.

    Now try again.

    If you still face an issue then could you please send me Web.Config file and Screenshot to v-yogcha@microsoft.com?  You can locate web.config in "Portal" folder of installed dir of VMMSSP2 on Portal machine.

    Hi,

    Are you DCIT admin for VMMSSP2 portal ?  Are you able to see "Settings" Tab in portal ? 

    DCIT admin would be able to view and approve requests via "Request" tab.  Configuration for VMMSSP2 portal is done via  "Setting" tab.

    i can not see "Setting" tab. Where define DCIT admin user and confirm my current user is DCIT admin ? thanks

    When you ran the Installer, about the 9th screen you viewed was titled - "Configure the server Comonents" and you were asked to "Provide a list of data cetner administrators".

    these should have been domain\username format, all you need to do is open the web portal using one of the named accounts you entered on this screen and you should have access to the settings tab

    Hi，I checked the database confirm my current user is a data center administraotrs. but , i find a new question . When i don't use anonymous authenctication on iis admin console.   system error tips.

    HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized

    You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

    when i select anonymous authenctication , i can login portal page , but can not display my current user name.

    also , i alreay give everyone premission to SSP 2.0 directory . but same question . I want know the right config iis authenctication ?

    Hi,

    You need to turn off Anonymous authentication and enable Windows Authentication

    Could you please refer Software Requirement section from "VMM08R2_VMMSSPDeploymentGuide"  & confirm software requirements for IIS ?
