  • Question

  • Hello,

A previous administrator configured a resource calendar to send calendar reservations to multiple recipients for approval. We now want to change this to a new single executive assistant for our CEO, however when configuring the calendar resource to send to the new person it still only sends to the previous multiple individuals despite making the changes in ECP and Exchange powershell.  Below is the resource settings. Is there a way to completely reset a resource calendar settings to remove any custom settings previously programmed?

Open the mailbox is Outlook with its own profile and see what is set for delegates

Also check inbox rules and any forwarding on the mailbox itself.

  • I never thought of that so I checked.  there is no inbox rules forwarding anything and the permissions on the account are default. I have provided screenshots of the resource settings page when opening the actual mailbox for the resource. Any thoughts?

  • Hi,

Why not create a new one to replace it? In this way, all old custom settings on that room mailbox will gone. It may be the most quickly way to reset it.

  • I cannot delete and create a new calendar as this calendar is booked out with internal and external executive meetings for over a year.

If so, you can create a new room mailbox, then compare it's setting with this old one. Change back all the difference.

  • I have made all the settings as they should be. They match other calendar in the organization that are behaving as expected. Yet the invite for meeting still go to the older delegate emails that are not longer employed here. Even though old employees are not listed anywhere in the settings.

You can try to recreate this mailbox and add it to this room mailbox‘s delegate. Then try to remove this mailbox from this delegate list correctly, check whether it back to normal.

Since the value of "AutomateProcessing" is set to "AutoAccept", meeting request will not be sent to other mailbox.
