SCCM permissions and documentation


  • recently we invested in SCCM 07 to manage our updates and software rollout.
    We would like our junior admins to be able to administer this without having to provide full domain access.

    But we have been having trouble finding out what the required permissions are. So my questions are:

    1) What are the required permissions in order to be able to administer sccm

    2) We did not receive any documentation with our copy of sccm (we're using a university license), but the online documentation is confusing, there are many books and documents written by individuals and we have struggled to find official documentation. So where is the official documentation, or any documentation that can give a us a basic understanding of how to set it up and begin administering it.
