  • Hi,

Do you only use Exchange on-premises in your organization? Do you have any mailboxes migrated to or created on Exchange Online?

For Outlook 2016 version 16.0.6741.2017 and later versions, Outlook will check for O365 as priority and try to connect to O365. If you don't have any O365 mailboxes, you can create the ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint DWORD value to prevent from connecting to O365.

    1. Go to Register Editor and find the following location:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover

    2. Create a DWORD value for ExcludeExplicitO365Endpoint and change the value to "1":

For more information, please check: Unexpected Autodiscover behavior when you have registry settings under the \Autodiscover key.
