Report Server not starting

    Question

  • Report Server not starting: I am using SCOM 2012 SP1

    unable to get report screen with http://<computer name>/ReportServer<instance name>

    but able to view reports page if I type http://localhost/Reportserver

    In reporting server configuration manger..it shows started..but if i click on stop and start ..its shows task failed to start.

    I had to create a registry key and reboot:

     The registry pipeline timeout value is already set to 60000.

    Plz help !

  • Hello, 

    Are you trying to open the Report Server page from the Reporting Services Configuration Tool and when you open the browser you cant see anything ? Try opening the browser with admin privileges (right click on IE and Run As Admin) and type http://computername/reportserver_instancename and see if you can be able to Report Server Page. If this is the problem then you might need to add your username in the Security tab of site settings.
