Error in task Sequence Windows 7 Deployment RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are currently having a problem with our task sequence when deploying Windows 7 as and upgrade from Windows XP. The job goes as far as running the User state migration in XP, reboots and downloads the WIM image for Windows 7 fine. It then continues are runs a bunch of custom installs including the AppV client and related packages. It seems to fail in the last few steps of the sequence just before it joins the domain and restores the User State from XP.

This is only happening on our Laptops, desktops using the same task sequence work 100%. Both have drivers injected into the task sequence.

These are some of the errors that I can see in the SMSTS.log file on the machine after it fails.
