SCCM does not sync with WSUS

    Question

  • Hello there .

    I have the following set up. SCCM R2 SP2 in native mode on one server and WSUS on other server in the same domain.

    Recently SCCM is not showing all the updates which are shown in WSUS despite it looks the sync goes well.

    Below you can find the log from wsync manager:

    So the sync goes well but I always see the same number of updates on my SCCM therefore cannot do really patching. Has anyone seen that one before ?

  • How are you verifying which updates are "known" to ConfigMgr?

  • I cannot find specific updates on SCCM but I can find them on WSUS and the total number of all updates in SCCM is like 10x less than in WSUS server

  • How are you verifying this though? Are you using a Search Folder? Are you simply browsing through the repository?

  • I have verified it through the search folder and browsing as well.

    The only thing I have found that might be helpful is this one <!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:Calibri; panose-1:2 15 5 2 2 2 4 3 2 4; mso-font-charset:0; mso-generic-font-family:swiss; mso-font-pitch:variable; mso-font-signature:-520092929 1073786111 9 0 415 0;} /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-unhide:no; mso-style-qformat:yes; mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:11.0pt; font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"; mso-fareast-font-family:Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-latin;} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; color:blue; text-decoration:underline; text-underline:single;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-priority:99; color:purple; mso-themecolor:followedhyperlink; text-decoration:underline; text-underline:single;} .MsoChpDefault {mso-style-type:export-only; mso-default-props:yes; font-size:10.0pt; mso-ansi-font-size:10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size:10.0pt;} @page WordSection1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.0in 1.0in 1.0in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.WordSection1 {page:WordSection1;} --> http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmgrsum/thread/617b0337-d012-4128-b447-6b5d2139a445
