SCCM Client showing as no clients / inactive for Citrix servers

Hi Team,

i deleted few citrix servers from sccm console accidently, they did come back after i ran the discovery (Active directory forest discovery, Active directory system discovery) but they are showing as no client installed

i checked the log on the citrix server ClientIDManagerStartup log

i believe from the log "Restored CCM Identity GUID:95EE6114-A3AD-4C7D-ABB6-37074D66EDCD from 'Citrix' Identity store." its somehow restoring old identity

i tried below steps

created new master image and done below steps before shutting down the server to create template

Step1. make sure the folder c:\programdata\citrix\pvsagent\LocallyPersistedData is cleared
step4. Run the cleanup script to clean the old certificates of sccm ( script is added below )

Remove-Item -Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SMS\Certificates\*' -force
Remove-Item -Path C:\Windows\SMSCFG.INI -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue

cmd.exe /c "certutil –delstore SMS SMS"

step5. add the sccm service account to the local administrator group
Step4. Open cmd as administrator and run below command
wmic /namespace:\\root\ccm\invagt path inventoryActionStatus where InventoryActionID="{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001}" DELETE /NOINTERACTIVE
Ste6. Close the image and use it to push to client servers

still does not work , when the citrix clients booting using this master image it is again not getting registered

could you please let me know if i am missing any step ??

The log is not full. You should wait for the client registration to happen, and not just when it is pending and troubleshoot it.

ClientIDManagerStartup.log can help you the client registration process. Also check locationservices.log and clientlocation.log for further troubleshooting.

i just uninstalled and cleared the certificates and installed back client on a citrix client server, still same

Hi,

Thanks for posting in TechNet.

1.Could we try to check the MP_RegistrationManager.log and CcmMessaging.log to see the activities of client registration and the communication between the client and management points? Also, please help check the firewall's configuration.

2.Please try to check if the client is able to send its inventory information to MP successfully? If the Client is successfully discovering the Site and able to send the inventory correctly to our management points, please check the inventoryagent.log.
