How to create a package to Upgrade Lync client 2010 to Lync 2013 using SCCM

    Question

  • Hi,

I want to create a package to upgrade Lync client 2010 to Lync 2013 using SCCM. It should uninstall Lync 2010 and Install Lync 2013.

We have Windows 7 PC’s running Lync 2010  client.  What I need to do is install the Lync 2013 client and then uninstall the Lync 2010  client.  Using the Office Customization Took, I am able to install the Lync 2013 client fine, however the 2010 client isn’t not removed.

Please let me know the procedure to achieve this requirement.

  • This question would be better posting to the Lync forum as this is not really a CM07 question.

ok, once you figure out the steps that need to take place,  we can help you with CM07 stuff, but until then there isn't much anyone can do to help you.
