So I have everything pretty much working the image is loaded, task sequence built, advertised to the client.  It reboots and loads WinPE and gets to the point where it is Applying the Operating System and it bombs out on me.  I enabled command prompt on the boot image and verified I was able to get an IP address from my DHCP server but the odd thing is I can't resolve the FQDN for my SCCM server which houses all the roles, DP, MP, etc.  My first guess was drivers so I re-loaded the drivers and tried again and still no luck.  What's even stranger is I can hit the server with the NetBios name but no luck with the FQDN.  I also verified my Network Access Account could hit the server and it can.  Any help would be appreciate as I've been beating my head against the wall on this one.  Here are some snippets from my SMSTS.log:

Also my DNS settings are showing up like: fec0:0:0:ffff::1%1 instead of IPv4.

    Thanks,

  • Ok I figured this out.  Error on my part, my DHCP was setup properly with the correct DNS servers.  Once I got that running everything went smooth.

    Thanks,
