VM cant Boot after P2V Boot From SAN qlogic HBA

  • We need to convert a 2008 R2 File Server in our Hyper-V Cluster.

The File Server got no local Disks, all Volumes are attached via a qlogic HBA, the System is a "boot from SAN".

When i make P2V with SCVMM 2008 R2, the System cant
boot, i can only see a cursor blinking. I Tried to convert the System with
XenConverter, but the Problem is the same.

Does anyone have experiences with that scenario?

    Best Regards

3). Select a language, a time and currency, and a keyboard or input method, and then click Next.
    4). Click Repair your computer.
5). In the System Recovery Options dialog box, choose the drive of your Windows installation and click Next.
