How to activate a new installation of Win XP Pro full-packeged-product RRS feed

    I need to activate an installation of XP Pro full packaged product.  There is no way to achieve this by phone nor by internet as originally intended.  As I understand it, many users are installing XP on virtual machines.  How are they being activated?

    Hi UncleA.

    I'm not sure whether Windows XP activation is still available: you could try using the phone activation and not respond to any of the prompt, this should force a live operator to come on the line and provide you with the necessary support.
    You could also contact your Microsoft Regional Support and ask for assistance.
