How to disable Alt + F4 on windows 7? RRS feed

  • hi,

    i want to know how to disable Alt+F4, as i want to create a kiosk mode but did not want short cut keys to force close my programs.

    Do help!!

    This a tricky question, you can run IE in kiosk mode by just simply using '-k' argument (iexplore -k)

    I think disabling alt+f4 function from keyboard can be done only by scripting, try to search here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ITCG/threads

     

    If you would describe what is your purpose of doing that we could provide more accurate answer

    as for the scripting part i don't really get what you mean.

    mind futher explain, as i am not really good at computer stuff.
