  • Hi Joe

    Try the following.

Go to Start / All Programs / Accessories.

Right click the Command Prompt item and select the Run As Administrator option from the menu.

Click Continue on the UAC prompt.

Copy/Paste the following command into the command promptwindow.

    regsvr32 %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

    Press ENTER

You should see a command succeeded message.

Close the Command prompt window and reboot the computer.

    Try the Extract option again.

  • Zip files not unzipping on double click inWin 7 RC

    Hi Joe

Try right clicking the zip file and selecting the Extract All from the context menu.

This should unzip the file and create a separate folder for the files.

    Hope this helps.

  • HI. The message is from RegSvr32     ... The module "C:\Windows\system32]zipfldr.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found.
Make sure that"C:\Wndows\system\zipfldr.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again.

By the way I looked in the system32 folder and the dll does exist there.
    ???
    Thanks.
