Answers

  • Hi,

Based on my research, DWM enables visual effects on the desktop as well as various features such as glass window frames, 3-D window transition animations, Windows Flip and Windows Flip3D, and high resolution support.

Therefore, the issue may be related to your graphic driver, desktop settings or screen resolution.

Please install the latest graphic driver for Windows 8.

Also, please reduce the screen resolution and select Adjust for best performance and see how it works.

In addition, we can use Process Explorer to troubleshoot the issue.

    Hope this helps.
