It is interesting you are able to install W8.1 Pro RTM over W8 Pro, keeping all apps, Applications, files and documents, contrary to perceived wisdom and experience of the Preview. This seems to apply to fresh install of the original W8 but not an upgrade over W7 to W8.
A problem I had with "live" Mail 2012 on the desktop has also been resolved.
Particularly pleasing is the fact that being able to install all applications, negates the fact that W8.1 Preview refused to recognise a legitimate licence of Office 2010! The only thing missing for me is the ability to make a System Image from the Control Panel, as this was extremely useful.
Well done Microsoft. Now I am able to finally progress and leave W7 in the past.

Dell E6430, running Windows 8.1 RTM. Wi-Fi keeps saying limited connection. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason. Very frustrating!!!!
This computer was fine on Win8, and Win8.1 Preview. I have even installed the driver from Dell and still have the same issue. This is making my laptop useless. Any suggestions? In the book of life, the answers aren't in the back.

Had same problem two days ago, a Refresh, under Update send Recovery fixed everything- except now I cannot download any apps from app store as of 7:30am 9/15/13- has to be app store, not the RT. Hope it helps!Sunday, September 15, 2013 2:55 PM

USB connected external drives have serious sleep problems.

My USB-Connected water pump (Aquastream XT) will be reinitialized each time i open web browser and navigate to page containing flash objects --> each time flash player starts. It possibly lists all USB connected devices to find Camera or sound device...
My USB HDD restarts randomly. That is not funny, dear Microsoft. This behavior affects the durability of hardware! Please fix it! It is generic USB problem!
All my drivers are up to date and supporting Windows 8.1
Reinstalling drivers doesn't helps.

sleep has not worked right on my box, probably due to some problems with the MB
I think it is 8.1 problem, not your MB. I have 2 devices, including Surface Pro, and sleep always causes a crash when waking up.

As you can see in this post i have in Neowin forums, this seems to me a problem to be addressed asap, as there are more and more people out there with problems in wifi.
http://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1175669-windows-81-rtm-x64x86-procore-internet-explorer-11-web-browsing/
I am hoping that when Final build will be available through windows store that this is widely fixed, otherwise i will avoid 8.1, as my wifi is critical for me.
NOTE: I was able to do upgrade keeping everything, but what made me astonished was the fact that after all process of upgrade, there where left over a folder like "windows.old" and "program files old", why on earth would setup leave this behind? just to fill disk space? Or is this like a way to uninstall and revert back to windows 8? what a failure!!!
And the worst of all is the bug has described in my post at neowin, that i am having in two notebooks with diferent setups (one old Vaio X86 intel 3945abg wireless (install keeping only files), and other Vaio I7 intel Advanced n6235(install vi upgrade with keep all)) why is IE11 unusable in this pcs and with firefox i can browse well? of course this only happens in wifi.

Just a tip for all of you;
I also did an in place upgrade from Windows 8 Pro with Media Pack key to 8.1 Pro with Technet RTM and re-added the previously supplied Media Pack on a Sony Vaio VPCF13 with Full HD 1080.
Some applications like Goggle Chrome, Notepad++ appeared blurred.
The tip to change the "Compatibility Settings" per app solves the blurriness but to override for all applications I simply changed the Display settings; Right click on Start button, Control Panel, Display, check tick box "Let me choose one scaling level for all my displays" and reduced from "Medium 125%" to "Smaller 100%".
Requires a sign out and sign in and no more blurry apps.
Regards
Richard
What did you break today ? on second thoughts don't tell me, let me guess.
