Silverlight application not loading (stuck at 100%) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello there

We have a strange issue on a Windows 10 pro 64 bits. Silverlight is installed on the computer. When we go to the webapplication page, the loading is stuck at 100%. The application is not launched.

We tried to uninstall silverlight (https://support.microsoft.com/fr-fr/help/2530460) and reinstall it, we still encounter this issue.

    We cleared browser cache too.

We are working on a user-rights resctricted computer (maybe this is relevant for our problem). We found, on this french website advice about the ownership of Silverlight folder : http://myownkb.com/fr/references-techniques/microsoft-windows/26-correctifs/13-plugin-silverlight-bloque-a-100

Is someone able to help us ?

  • We too have had this issue, its due to Silverlite being ****

Load IE, load your application webpage and assuming it has a login page at that point click the cog in the top right and select ADD SITE TO APPS.

Our T&A application has the URL site.domain/program/silverlite  If you manually remove the silverlite from the URL it loads, again this is a silverlite issue.

Creating the app and using that usually fixes the problem.  You can copy the app to the desktop as a shortcut too.

    Have Fun
