    Question

  • I have an early model of a Bose Wave with Soundlink, my laptop (HP Pavilion g6 running windows 7) is pairing with my Bose system through the dongle/key, but when I try to play some music it only plays through my laptop and not through the Bose system.

I've been in touch with the Bose Tech Guys and they have gone through a number of possibilities but to no avail, but could only suggest that my Bluetooth might be out of date, and that I need to see if there are any updates - AD2P?

I've tried to search but haven't found anything as yet, any ideas/solutions?

  • Actually you should be discussing this issue with HP or in one of the appropriate HP forum for your system: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

Since this hardware is produced and sold by HP, HP is best qualified to address any issue you have with your system.  Any update for your system will be published by HP not Microsoft.

  • Hi,

Make sure your bluetooth driver is up to date and you can download the latest driver on the manufacture's website.

Are you pairing the device stably? Make sure you have a stable network connection .
