I had a "forced" windows update this morning after I had already had applications open. Once it updated the system shutdown and took a very long time. Now when it turns on I get the Windows Error Recovery window and it will start manually and everything looks great and I will start to load applications and it will just shut down "crash dump" via the Blue Window (A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down your system). It then goes to the Windows Error Recovery mode window and restarts. I don't even need to log into my computer. It just restarts after a "crash dump" if I wait from my password log in page. I have Windows Vista Home Premium on that computer. I am typing this on my other computer which has XP and did not get the same update. The Vista system just keeps restarting and stopping. It is completely unusable. I use this computer for business and I am down and out right now.

I had the same thing happen to me this morning, a forced update while I was asleep and now I cannot use my computer for anything. I'm in safe mode looking for solutions on the MS site or seeing if there is another update ready to repair their problem from the previous update.
