  • Question

  • was doing a system restore and the computer was shut off in the middle of the process now it wont boot because the relevant files they were all erased and not enough to finish restoring   the computer. Gets stuck in continuous loop after logo screen.. What do I do???

    Stick the DVD in and start again.

     

    Also, after x number of false starts, Windows should realise there is a problem and go into scan/restore mode.

    What exactly happens now when you start the computer? Do you see Windows logo screen and then nothing after that?

    Based on your situation, I suggest you get into Win RE and try to restore from restore point if any.
