for the same package why it have different DP locations

Hello All,
I was going through the smsts.log file where i found that each package is showing like this :
MCS server:
Found location: http://J0.arun.com/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: https://J0.arun.com/CCMTOKENAUTH_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: http://J0.arun.com/NOCERT_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
MCS server:
Found location: http://J01.arun.com/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: https://J01.arun.com/CCMTOKENAUTH_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: http://J01.arun.com/NOCERT_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
MCS server:
Found location: http://J02.arun.COM/SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: https://J02.arun.COM/CCMTOKENAUTH_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844
Found location: http://J02.arun.COM/NOCERT_SMS_DP_SMSPKG$/A0100844The package is same then why its showing 3 different DP servers and what it mean by MCS server ?

They all provide different authentication methods depending upon how your environment is configured including with and without an NAA and with or without enhanced HTTP.

Hi,
As Jason mentioned,
The package A0100844 is distributed to three DPs (J0, J01, J02). And for different authentication methods, each DP provides three different access paths, just as Jason mentioned.
Based on my experience, MCS may be short for Multicast Service. ConfigMgr grants this permission to the computer account of the Distribution Point that supports multicast.
