  • Please Try these on the client.

    1. Install latest Windows 8 NIC driver.

    2. If the manufacture doesn't have Windows 8 driver, try latest Windows 7 driver.

    3. If above don't fix the problem, ask network administrator to check any errors in the Event Viewer.

  • Thanx chicagotech for reply.

I have already installed latest Windows 8 NIC drivers and that works fine on all other network except my college network.

N all the people in my college using Windows 8 are having the same connectivity problem.

So, I contacted Network Admins and they says this cannot be solved because windows 8 is having connectivity bug in enterprise network.

That's the reason I concerned this blog.

All hardware and drivers work fine.

What changes should I make in settings to connect successfully...??

  • Check your router for compatibility and DHCP settings.

I solved most of my problems by dumping my TrendNet TEW-639GR and installing an old Linksys which still ahs some rpoblems.  My new router should be here today or tomorrow.
