I have received several Dell Vostro PC's in the past few week, all of them refurbished, and I receive the Windows Update Error: Code 80072EE2 and sometimes 80072F78. The only way I've been able to solve this problem is by reloading the OS. I have gone through
the MS KB Article 836941 and have tried Method A-F and advanced methods A-C to resolve the issue, but none of them have worked. I have also ruled out network issues.
I have contacted Dell and was instructed to make sure I have .NET Framework 3.5 installed, which I tried installing and it did not solve the problem either. I'm curious to know if anybody else has experienced this problem with Dell PC's right out of the
box and if you were able to solve the problem without reloading the OS.
