  • You are likely looking at a backup and reinstall. I'm not certain if it is possible to initiate a rollback from within a halted-progress upgrade.

You can attempt to turn it on again and see if it completes. In rare instances, it can still work. I'm presuming you already tried this tho.

  • Hi,

If a power issue occurs while an update is being downloaded, Windows will continue downloading when the system is running again.
If a power issue occurs while an update is being installed, the update usually will fail and can be reinstalled when Windows is running again. Sometimes though, an issue may occur (like an unbootable system or Windows Update issues), but in those cases a backup is enough to resolve the issue.

Hope can help you. Have a nice day!

    Best Regards,

    Kiki
