  • Hi Naveen,

    Thanks for posting here.

Per the error message above, the issue could be caused by many factors. Therefore, I am not sure which one you have come across. Please follow the two articles to troubleshoot issue and see if they could overcome that issue.

Part 1 – Analysis Services Multidimensional: “A duplicate attribute key has been found when processing”…

Part 2 – Analysis Services Multidimensional: “A Duplicate Attribute Key Has Been Found When Processing”

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Will_Kong,

Thank you for your answer, However the issue i am facing is cube is getting corrupted along with error message i have shown.

I have checked the data, i don't see any issues.

Whenever i restore the fresh cube i can see the proper results without any change in data nor cube change.

    Regards

    Naveen

  • Hi Naveen,

    Thanks for your update.

    >>I have checked the data, i don't see any issues.

    >>Whenever i restore the fresh cube i can see the proper results without any change in data nor cube >>change.

But the error message told us the issue is from the dimension table "dbo_Rating Type", "Description" column. if the design of that table is available, the error message would not show up. Have you done a further research about it? Or have you checked the content of service log file?

Restore operation doesn't explain the reason of that issue, it couldn't explain the issue would not appear again.

    Best Regards,

    Will

  • Yes, that is the strange thing happening.

Further research says to handle Cube corruption , the solution is to restore the cube backup.

But , i don't want to do every time the cube gets corrupted.

Yes, such solution could not solve real problem. Therefore, you need to do as what I have told in my previous reply, try different methods of troubleshooting to find out what factor lead to such issue. Or use SQL profile to capture the execution of the processing.

    Best Regards,
